The Working Principle of Modern Elevators and the Innovations That Ensure Their Safety

In collaboration with ICE, FIGUREBI is installing innovative elevator models by the international brand OTIS in its residential complex under construction on Jikia Street. The project features the GEN2 model, known for its high safety standards and advanced technological solutions.

A total of four elevators will be installed within the complex – two passenger elevators and two fire-rated elevators, each operating at a speed of 2 meters per second.

The key technological advantage of the GEN2 model, which sets it apart from other brands on the market, is its belt-driven system. This significantly reduces wear on the motor, extending the elevator’s operational lifespan by up to three times – reaching 20 to 25 years.
